Terminal Velocity was our first compilation that found its way onto CD.
Produced in 2000 it contains raw emotions displayed with purity and clarity.
Dennis visits the musical phenomena :
"Music has the power to stir patriotism. The power to calm a fretting baby.
The power to cause children to jump up and down and squeal with delight. The
power to put us all on edge and ready to scream during a scary movie. Happy
crying at a wedding and sad crying at a funeral. All because of a song.
People who study metaphysics will say that a song is just the extension of the
cosmic Om come to fruition through someone's mind that is connected with the
oneness of the universe. People who study medicine will say that a song is the
result of the firing of synaptic junctions in the brain that when connected in a
particular manner at a specific rate will combine the processes of memory with
cognitive reasoning and imagination while simultaneously activating the required
neurons in order to stimulate muscle activity in either or both the throat
(singing) and hands (playing).
Singing is a naturally occurring phenomena in the human species, we all do it
(some better than others). Playing an instrument, save drums, which is also
naturally occurring, is a long drawn out process requiring much more brain
activity, hours of practice and muscle memory. As a result most people can sing
along to a favorite tune and beat out the rhythm on a table at the same time but
very few people are able to pick up an instrument and play. "
